Video installation with 6 TV-monitores and 6 DVD players

 

On 6 TV-Screens video snippets from family-websites, sampled together and shown separately by categories like: birthdays, children, marriages, leisure time, festivities and pets.
The categories resulted from viewing the collected videos. The presented material derives from a search undertaken in 2004. In contrast to the material found in 2002 – for the first version of this installation – the videos found in 2004 were longer and bigger in size. Also the search process was easier.
