Natur and all what sorrounds us is not fast. Fast respectively accelarated are only we.
Paul Virillio designates the automobile as a projector: „In der Tat ist das Automobil ein Projektor, ein Projektor, dessen Geschwindigkeit wir mit der Schaltung regeln. …das hier und jetzt der Geschwindigkeit und der Beschleunigung entgehen uns, obwohl sie schwersten Einfluss auf das Bild der durchquerten Landschaft haben,…“ (from Paul Virilio: Fahren, fahren, fahren…, Merve Verlag Berlin,1978)

So we are driving in a projector on the highways. The perception of the accelarated fast nature changes also our conception of nature and this changes our immagination, our inner images of that what sorrounds us like landscapes, nature, citys, humans.

The works of the serie fast nature were collected with an iphone during long drives on german highways.
