Photographic Series, since 2012

Wherever we are on this planet we see billboards of Gucci, Prada, Apple and many other known and unknown brands. – In fact, billboards become more and more relevant architectural elements in the cities, defining their ‚look‘ and ‚feel‘. They ‚decorate‘ highways and fill facades. They are totalitarian in their aesthetic and there is no way to avoid them. They create parallel worlds of a garden Eden, full of luxury items and ideal beauties and turn into dream-machines. They are a product of the trend to economize everything like plain facades, roofs, not defined or empty squares and highway borders and they change our perception of the public space in cities.
